"IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY, OR WHAT...?!"
In May of 2004, AmeriLux International moved into a 20,000 square feet facility located in De Pere’s East Industrial Park just south of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Since then, the AmeriLux campus has continued to grow and expand to meet its customer’s needs, deliver added value, and create ‘win-wins’.
In 2009, AmeriLux expanded its distribution center and operations space, nearly doubling the physical plant size. Another expansion to the facility was completed in 2012; bringing the total square footage of operations space to just under 60,000 square feet.
AmeriLux added ‘Building #2’ to its campus in 2017. The 30,000 square foot facility was built on vacant property adjacent to the main facilities East De Pere location and houses an extensive inventory of multiwall polycarbonate products.
This year brings another expansion. AmeriLux recently purchased the property next door at 1200 Enterprise Drive for a 25,000 square foot expansion to Building #2. The added space will increase storage capacity for an ever-growing product offering and create easy access to inventory for timely order fulfillment. The AmeriLux campus will soon total 135,000 square feet!
The Building #2 expansion project is expected to be finished by early 2020. Progress photos and updates will be added regularly, so check back often.

When spring finally arrives in Wisconsin, the asphalt and landscaping work will be completed.

The crew finished installing the cantilever racking and wire guidance system this week. This wire guidance transmits an electrical signal to the multidirectional side loader, enabling it to track a guidewire in the floor. Wire guiding increases productivity and reduces product and rack damage within aisles. The HUBTEX has already been busy moving material and filling the racks with long pallets of polycarbonate and PVC panels.
Building Expansion Update: February 28th, 2020
The crew was busy assembling and installing the cantilever racking this week. This is the same type of racking system that is currently installed in Building #2. Vertical racking systems like these save floor space, minimize the double handling of material, and allow for quicker order fulfillment.
